Myeongdong (only visit these 5 places)

One of the first places you'll probably visit when you come to Seoul, Korea would be Myeongdong. Myeongdong has been the center of all places for decades. I go to Myeongdong every week for tours so I know where to go and what's worth seeing. If you are just visiting Seoul and don't have lots of time to spend in Myeongdong, I'll show you exactly where to go so you don't wander and waste time.

Myeongdong Kyoja

This restaurant is probably the reason why Myeongdong still exist as all the stores have changed except for this one and there is a reason why. You can get free refills of noodles and rice. You have to watch out for the kimchi as it is very spicy.

Street food

If you are walking around Myeongdong, you'll see street food in the middle of the street so you can't miss it. Although the price of street in Myeong is getting expensive, my personal favorite is the grilled cheese lobster. It's unique and you'll rarely find lobsters selling in the street. Be sure to check out other street food.

Top Ten

Top Ten sells basic high quality clothes for cheap so even if you are not looking for clothes, I suggest you visit here. You'll often see tourist bringing their suitcase to fill up their suitcase with top ten.

Nature Republic

You are looking at the most expensive land in Korea per square feet. You can't leave Korea without checkout a cosmetic store as you probably know that Korean cosmetics are high quality at an affordable price. You can walk and the staff will greet you so they can help you what you are looking for. I suggest you get a toner, serum and a cream.

Sulbing café

This Korean dessert café is unique as they serve Korean desserts. I suggest you take a break from coffee shops and visit Sulbing as they'll offer sweets you can't resist.

There you have it! You can quickly eat, shop and enjoy at Myeongdong and move on to your next destination. Enjoy!
